Megan & Jon's wedding

On Saturday we all attended the wedding of one of Mimi's friends, Megan. This was the first wedding that William attended, but surely not the last. As he is in church during a regular service, Will was very good. He played at the beginning of the ceremony, and fell asleep about half way through. As soon as the music starts, he believes it is his turn to "talk"; lucky for him (and us) he is cute and people don't seem to mind - if they even notice!

Megan looked amazing and the ceremony and reception were wonderful. Since Mimi is not working at the office, it is always nice for her to be able to catch up with co-workers. The food was great, as was the company. Will was very interested in everything going on around him so it took him a while to fall asleep. He slept while we ate dinner - good timing, if you ask me! Being at a wedding and reception were great fun for him, but also very tiring...he fell asleep pretty soon after we got home during his bottle (didn't even finish it, that is VERY rare)!

CONGRATULATIONS MEGAN & JON!
We wish you many years of happiness together.

Exchange of vows (sorry it's blurry)
Relaxing before the reception & after a bottle
Ready to dance the night away!

Welcoming William

On Saturday, Mach 1, 2008 William entered the world. Will was born at Riverside Hospital at 5:25pm. He weighed 7lbs. 14oz. and was 21 inches long. During the month of February, Mimi was scheduled to be induced at least one time due to pregnancy induced high blood pressure. We both wanted Will to be born naturally and luckily our visit to the doctor on February 28 proved that we could go up to his due date of March 5 without being induced. On Friday, February 29, Michael Bailey, a college friend of Michael's, and his sister, Laura, came to visit. That night we went to bed later than usual and woke up at 5am realizingt it was time to head to the hospital. By 3:10 that afternoon Mimi was starting to push and by 5:25 Will was born; a happy and healthy baby! The nurses and doctor were wonderful during our 12 hours in the labor and delivery room; checking on both Mom & Dad to make sure we were both okay.Visiting family members and friends made the hospital stay easier!
