A relaxing Sunday

On Sunday, William had a very relaxing and fun filled day. His day included swinging, playing with Duke, visiting with his grandparents and hanging out with Jacob.

Peaches and cereal are yummy, but I'm ready for some real fun!

After eating peaches (and rice cereal) he and Duke relaxed and rolled on the floor. The blanket was put out for Will, but Duke decided that he was interested in lying on the blanket as well.

Duke, will you play with me?
I just want to see your front paw, please?
I don't let ANYONE touch my front paw!
I can sit up!!!!
Take the picture, Daddy!!
A little too close, I think...
With the weather being just about perfect (in our eyes) we spent time outside swinging. I think the swing may have been one of the best purchases we have made (he loves it)!!!

One handed...this swing is wonderful!
Tim & Jacob came to visit (unfortunately the boys can't swing together)
As the day was winding down, William and Jacob spent a little time together in the front yard. We cannot believe how big the boys are getting - babbling a ton, sitting up on their own and wanting to stand up! What is next?????
Duke is watching to see just how close they will get
Good dog Duke...
Jacob loves dogs...Duke is being very patient.

Playtime is over...see you tomorrow!

Welcoming William

On Saturday, Mach 1, 2008 William entered the world. Will was born at Riverside Hospital at 5:25pm. He weighed 7lbs. 14oz. and was 21 inches long. During the month of February, Mimi was scheduled to be induced at least one time due to pregnancy induced high blood pressure. We both wanted Will to be born naturally and luckily our visit to the doctor on February 28 proved that we could go up to his due date of March 5 without being induced. On Friday, February 29, Michael Bailey, a college friend of Michael's, and his sister, Laura, came to visit. That night we went to bed later than usual and woke up at 5am realizingt it was time to head to the hospital. By 3:10 that afternoon Mimi was starting to push and by 5:25 Will was born; a happy and healthy baby! The nurses and doctor were wonderful during our 12 hours in the labor and delivery room; checking on both Mom & Dad to make sure we were both okay.Visiting family members and friends made the hospital stay easier!
