Day 2 brought an EARLY riser and a fun-filled day! Our morning started with an early visit to the beach (to avoid the Florida sun). Will was not a big fan of the beach nor was he a fan of the Gulf! We gave it a try, but he was not very interested. Now, he was interested and very happy to go swimming in the pool (for at least 30 minutes with no "complaints").GOOD MORNING!!! (6:05am)
He liked the sand for this second only...
The pool was more their speed...
Swimming was not the best part of the day, but it was fun. The best part of the day was William meeting his Aunt Charlotte for the first time! Will had a great time interacting with Char; he especially liked her shoes!!! Hopefully we will get to spend more time with Char and Marc so Will can interact even more!

Our next adventure (not the final one, though) was a trip to Mote Aquarium in Sarasota (http://www.mote.org/). We had a great time looking at and reading about all of the sea life. The best part, and I think Michael will agree, was watching the sea turtles. We found one that was very interested in "watching" / entertaining us. The tanks that the turtles are kept in lend to the public being able to be up close (as the pictures will show) and eye level depending on your height (great level for William).

Perfect view for Will
Our final adventure for Day 2 was the rehearsal dinner which was held at Marc's parent's house on Long Boat Key. We (the 3 of us and the Connors) were possibly the last guests to arrive despite the fact that we should have been possibly one of the first to arrive. To make a long story short, we got lost in a gated community. I am not even sure why I am admitting this, but it is quite funny (and was at the time, to me at least). We apparently went in the wrong entrance (yet the guard did not tell us that) and got blocked from going any further when we approached a gate that needed a coin to enter (we never received a coin)!!! Finally we found someone who worked in the marina to point us in the right direction...we made it to the rehearsal dinner a good 30 minutes later than expected. The evening was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the Florida weather sitting on the patio looking over the golf course!!
